同济大学绿色建筑及新能源研究中心（以下简称“中心”）成立于2003年，是一个融合同济大学土木、建筑、城市规划、热能工程、材料工程、环境工程等优势学科及科研资源为一体的校级跨学科交叉科研平台，肩负着支撑我国建筑节能及新能源开发利用、开拓城市及建筑领域低碳可持续发展新型学科的重要使命。“中心”聚集了一批以建筑节能及可再生能源为研究领域的著名学者、专家及科研精英，以一批知名教授、博导为领队，以中青年学者、博士后、博士、硕士研究生为核心骨干力量的科研梯队。成立以来，“中心”承担了许多国家重大科技支撑项目，承担了同济大学节约型校园的科技建设和支撑工作，获得了“中国建筑节能领域最具影响力研究机构之一”等称号，同济大学节约型校园示范建设项目获得了“全国2007年度建筑节能十大典型工程”、“国家教育部科技进步一等奖”等荣誉。

Research Center of Green Building & New Energy was established in 2003. It is an interdisciplinary research platform in university level and integrates the preponderant discipline and research resources of civil engineering, architecture, urban planning, thermal engineering, material engineering and environmental engineering of Tongji University. It shoulders the important mission of supporting energy conservation and new energy utilization of Chinese building, and developing new disciplines of low-carbon sustainable development in urban and architecture fields. The Research Center has gathered famous research scholars, experts and elites in the field of building energy conservation and renewable energy. Well-known professors and doctoral supervisors, young scholars, postdoctoral, doctoral and postgraduate students perform as the core members. Since its establishment, the Center has undertaken many major national science and technology support projects, as well as the science and technology construction and support work of the conservation-oriented campus of Tongji University. It has won the title of ‘one of the most influential research institutions in the field of building energy conservation in China’. The demonstration construction project of conservation-oriented campus of Tongji University won the honor of ‘Top Ten Typical Projects of Building Energy Conservation in 2007‘, and ‘First Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award’.
