上海市城市更新及其空间优化技术重点实验室

——

上海市城市更新及其空间优化技术重点实验室上海市科委立项,依托同济大学,于2017年11月正式批准建设的学术科研机构。在同济大学建筑与城市规划学院、上海同济城市规划设计研究院、同济大学建筑设计研究院(集团)有限公司的合作支持下,实验室已经成为超大城市有机更新领域的国际领先学术中心。实验室服务于上海城市更新和可持续发展的重大需求,引领中国城市建设方式转型的基础研究,为我国科技创新和应用研究的提供重要科研平台。通过构建具有中国特色的城市可持续更新理论方法和技术创新体系,实验室为上海城市可持续更新发展提供了技术创新,为上海市空间治理的现代化提供决策支持,并成为推动上海城市规划建设走向世界舞台的重要力量。

实验室以服务我国国民经济发展为目标,注意源头创新和学科交叉,积极承担国家和地方的科研任务。目前,实验室已经取得了上海市中心城区“一江一河”、风貌保护区和风貌道路的更新规划与管理研究;上海市浦东、静安、闵行等区的“十四五”城市精细化管理研究;创立了《Socio-Ecological Practice Research》(SEPR)国际期刊、《建成遗产(英文)》(Built Heritage)CSCD索引期刊;提出了高密度既有城区有机更新技术方法体系;建立了建筑性能化改造与建构理论,形成了从找形、模拟、优化到数字建造的一体化流程;建立了从建筑数字设计到机器人建造的贯通性理论与软件技术方法等一系列科研成果。相关成果获得了上海市科技进步一等奖、教育部科技进步二等奖、中国轻工业联合会科学技术进步奖一等奖等荣誉。实验室成员主持完成了国家重点研发计划、国家社科基金重点项目、上海市科委科技创新行动计划等一系列重要课题。

目前,实验室已经形成了如下五个主要建设方向:

1)超大城市可持续更新理论与方法体系研究 (学术带头人:伍江教授)

包括:城市有机更新理论与规划方法;超大城市精细化管理;和生态城市规划理论与城市更新方法三个细分方向。

2)超大城市布局结构效能优化研究 (学术带头人:吴志强院士)

包括:城市智能规划;城市大数据分析与空间评价;城市安全韧性规划与提升技术三个细分方向。

3)高密度城市空间建成环境质量提升研究 (学术带头人:唐子来教授)

包括:高密度城市空间健康设计;生态效能与绿色基础设施更新;城市综合体效能提升;城市街道空间和社区更新四个细分方向。

4)既有建筑更新和建成遗产保护研究 (学术带头人:常青院士)

包括:建成遗产保护与再生;既有建筑生态化改造;健康建筑与环境更新;性能化设计与数字化建造四个细分方向。

5)城市更新监测数据库和优化技术平台研究(学术带头人:王德教授)

包括:智能规划与城市大数据平台;城市韧性与生态修复多源异构数据平台;适用于绿色建筑性能化目标的数字化建造装备平台三个细分方向。


Shanghai Key Laboratory of Urban Renewal and Spatial Optimization Technology is an academic and scientific research institution officially approved in November 2017 by Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. Based in Tongji University, the laboratory closely cooperates with the College of Architecture and Urban Planning of Tongji University, Shanghai Tongji Urban Planning and Design Institute and Tongji University Architectural Design Institute (Group). The laboratory has become an international leading academic center in the particular field of organic urban renewal of mega-cities. The laboratory serves the major needs of Shanghai's urban renewal and sustainable development. Its research is centered on urban construction mode transformation in Chinese cities. The laboratory provides an important scientific research platform for China's technological innovation. By building a technological innovation system of urban sustainable renewal with Chinese characteristics, the laboratory provides intelligent services for the sustainable renewal and development of Shanghai, offers policy-making support for Shanghai's spatial governance. The laboratory also plays an important role in promoting Shanghai's urban planning and construction experience to the world.

The laboratory aims to serve China's economic development. It has completed a series of significant urban development studies including the renewal of one river, one river area in Shanghai; the urban regeneration research of historical city streets and roads in central Shanghai; the research on elaborated urban governance strategies of the 14 districts in Shanghai including Pudong, Jing'an and Minhang. The laboratory has established some influential academic journals including the Socio-Ecological Practice Research (SEPR) and Built Heritage (English). The laboratory has developed a systematic technical method of organic regeneration in high-density urban areas; built up the theoretical framework for building performance-based transformation and construction and established an integrated process of digital construction optimization. The laboratory’s research outputs have won a number of prizes such as the first prize of Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award, the second prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education, he first prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Light Industry Federation.

So far, the laboratory has built up advances in the following five research fields: 

1) Theory and method for sustainable urban renewal in mega-cities (lead by Prof. Jiang WU)

Including 3 research focuses: urban organic renewal theory and planning method; elaborated urban governance of mega-cities; and ecological urban planning theory and urban renewal method.

2) Efficiency improvement of spatial structure of mega-cities (led by Prof. Zhiqiang WU)

Including 3 research focuses: urban intelligent planning; Urban big data analysis and spatial evaluation; Urban safety resilience planning and upgrading technology.

3) Built environmental quality improvement for high-density urban areas (led by Prof. Zilai TANG)

Including 4 research focuses: healthy design of high density urban space; Ecological efficiency and green infrastructure renewal; Efficiency improvement of urban complexes; Urban street and community renewal.

 4) Existing building renewal and the preservation of built heritage (led by Prof. Qing CHANG)

Including 4 research focuses: built heritage preservation and regeneration; Ecological transformation of existing buildings; Healthy building and environmental renewal; Performance-based design and digital construction.

5) Urban renewal process monitoring database and their optimization technology (led by prof. De WANG)

Including 3 research focuses: intelligent planning and urban big data platform; Multi-source heterogeneous data platform for urban resilience and ecological restoration; Digital construction equipment platform for performance-based green building construction.
